My professional work brings me into contact with so many people who are suffering as a result of problems in their relationships, and it is people of all ages whose lives are thrown into turmoil by these problems. I know from my own experience the dreadful distress that is caused when facing the prospect or the actuality of a break up. For my own part I could think of nothing else, and I was unable to function at work or in any area of my life whilst in this distress.
